At the heart of every business is the ability to ask for money and receive it.
We’ve made our system capable of managing this in a couple of important ways.
Some businesses will be fine with creating and managing invoices and payments in the system.
Some will want to manage the money in an accounting system like Quickbooks, Xero, or Sage.
Our approach is to create the invoice in the system and then sync that to your accounting system via their respective API. (Application Programming Interface is just tech-speak for how programs talk to one another)
Payments can be accepted in several ways as well. We can create a page just for you to work with your merchant account directly or you can just let your customers pay using the method that your accounting system provides.
All of that can still be reported from one place so if you want to look in Quickbooks (etc) you have that choice or you can just see how things are going in our FileMaker system. We’ll show you the invoice status and payment status when we synchronize with that accounting system.
